Ethical
policy

We recognise
that the impact of any business activity can extend beyond the immediate
reach of our clients and staff. We have put in place measures to ensure that the
impact of these is managed.
For this reason we aim to:
1
Provide staff with a safe,
accessible, pleasant working environment, ensuring that proper attention is
given to the health and safety of all employees, temporary staff, and any
external consultants or visitors. |
2 |
Treat
all staff with respect and fairness irrespective of their sex, sexual
orientation, religion or nationality. |
3 |
Not permit or tolerate, nor will
we engage in, physical, verbal or sexual abuse of any kind in the workplace. |
4
Provide equal opportunity for
training and development to staff to enable them to progress in their
personal development and/or their career within the company so that the
business's needs are met. |
5 |
Not knowingly contract with any
outsourcing services which are known to unfairly exploit their workers (e.g.
by avoiding paying them at least the minimum wage, imposing excessive hours
for a perceived unfair remuneration, providing a known appalling work
environment). This might include certain cleaning contractors, IT services,
employment agencies. |
6 |
Encourage
staff to consider the environmental as well as business impact of their work
methods. |
7 |
Support fair trade practices. |
